Danny Elfman, Hugh Jackman, Jack O’Brien, David Rockwell, Glenn Slater, Aaron Sorkin Working on Broadway-Bound Houdini Musical

Work is continuing on the Broadway-bound musical Houdini, according to EW.com. A private reading is scheduled for January.

Jack O’Brien is set to direct the work, and Hugh Jackman is still attached to star as the legendary magician. Emmy Award winner and Tony Award nominee David Rockwell is co-producing the show and designing the sets.

Grammy and Emmy winner and four-time Oscar nominee Danny Elfman is writing the score with lyricist Glenn Slater and award-winning playwright and screenwriter Aaron Sorkin is penning the book.

At this point, no timetable for a Broadway opening has been set.
