Joseph Marzullo is there as Sweeney Todd and Jersey Boys take Broadway by storm.

Broadway was agog this weekend as not one, but two new hits opened: A thrilling reconception of Sweeney Todd and the brand new Four Seasons biomusical Jersey Boys. Pictured here during the Jersey Boys after-party at the Marriott Marquis are the singing actors who star as The Four Seasons: Daniel Reichard (Bob Gaudio), Christian Hoff (Tommy DeVito), John Lloyd Young (Frankie Valli), and J. Robert Spencer (Nick Massi).

On hand for the party were the three surviving members of The Four Seasons, in the flesh: (left to right) DeVito, Gaudio, and Valli.

A show of a very different sort, director John Doyle’s gripping new production of the Stephen Sondheim-Hugh Wheeler musical Sweeney Todd, opened at the Eugene O’Neill on Thursday, November 3 to mostly rave reviews. Here are the stars, Patti LuPone (Mrs. Lovett) and Michael Cerveris (Sweeney), at the after-party at the Copacabana.
