Jeremy Jordan (Newsies), Krysta Rodriguez (First Date), and Andy Mientus (Carrie) will headline a concert production of Hit List — the fictional musical at the center of the Broadway-centric NBC drama Smash — at 54 Below on December 9. The shows (at 9:30pm and 11:30pm) are presented by Smash writer Julia Brownell, show runner Joshua Safran, and 54 Below Director of Programming Jennifer Ashley Tepper.

On Smash, Jordan and Mientus played Jimmy Collins and Kyle Bishop, the young authors of Hit List, a musical fable about identity and the price of fame that followed the tragic love story between a wannabe pop singer who becomes a star and the songwriter she uses to get there. Rodriguez appeared on the series as Ana Vargas, a cast member of Hit List thrust into a leading role. On the series, Hit List opened off-Broadway at the (fictional) Manhattan Theatre Workshop before transferring to Broadway's Ethel Barrymore Theatre and winning seven Tony Awards.

The score of Hit List was written by Joe Iconis, Benj Pasek & Justin Paul, Marc Shaiman & Scott Wittman, Drew Gasparini, Andrew McMahon, and Lucie Silvas. The concerts will feature a full band, songs that never made it to air, and additional performers, yet to be announced.
