Seinfeld and Curb Your Enthusiasm impresario Larry David might be headed to Broadway. The writer/producer/sometimes-actor has written a play titled Shiva that, according to Showbiz411, is expected to be produced in New York by Scott Rudin, with David leading the cast.

No word on the plot, casting, or show dates, but the website also reports that Jerry Seinfeld, David's friend and frequent collaborator, could possibly star or produce the run.

While the play would be David's Broadway debut as both actor and writer, he played a fictional Broadway run as Max Bialystock in The Producers as Curb Your Enthusiasm's fourth-season plot line.

Seinfeld directed Colin Quinn's Broadway solo show Long Story Short in 2011 and appeared in a solo evening titled "Jerry Seinfeld on Broadway: I'm Telling You for the Last Time'', in 1998.
