Broadway’s Cheyenne Jackson is Releasing a Solo CD

The album will feature three songs cowritten by friend and collaborator Sia.

Broadway veteran and small-screen favorite Cheyenne Jackson (The Performers, Behind the Candelabra) will be releasing his first full-length album of original music on June 25. The CD, entitled “I’m Blue, Skies,” was cowritten by Jackson Stevie Aiello, Chris Braide, and Charlotte Sometimes as well as the popular singer/musician Sia.

“I’m Blue, Skies” is a 12-song work that blends the storytelling of folk music with a pop-music beat and sensibility. Jackson’s vocals pay tribute to his Broadway roots in this album that infuses his fresh sound into each track.

Cheyenne Jackson has received Drama Desk Award nominations for his work in Finian’s Rainbow and Xanadu and a Theatre World Award for All Shook Up. His other Broadway credits include The Performers and Aida.
