Alan Cumming Hands out 30-Under-30 Rush Tickets for His Solo Macbeth…
You know Alan Cumming, always trying to connect with the kids. For his most recent stunt, Cumming decided to man the box office window this past Sunday, May 19, and hand out tickets to unsuspecting mostly-under-thirty-year-olds (“I actually sold a few full-priced tickets to grownups.”)
He is totally great at checking IDs (“Is it like in a bar?”) and even gets a classy new poncho out of the deal (“It says on it ‘Connecticut, Still Revolutionary.’ I’ll be the judge of that, Connecticut!”)
It seems that it was pretty exciting for the ticket buyers, too. “I guess I’ll see you later,” says one.
