Harry Connick, Jr. to Appear on FOX’s American Idol May 4-5

Harry Connick, Jr. will appear on FOX’s American Idol on May 4 and 5. The stage and screen star will serving as a mentor for the show’s contestants, and arranging and orchestrating the songs for their performances. In addition, Connick will perform on the May 5 episode.

As previously announced, Connick will return to Broadway this summer with Harry Connick, Jr. in Concert on Broadway, to run 11 performances only, July 15-July 26 at the Neil Simon Theatre. Tickets for the show are now on sale.

Connick received Tony nominations for his performance in The Pajama Game and for the score of Thou Shalt Not. He has also appeared in such films as Bug, Memphis Belle, and Little Man Tate. He co-starred in the NBC series Will & Grace and won an Emmy Award for his special Harry Connick, Jr.: Only You in Concert. In addition, he is a top-selling, Grammy Award-winning recording artist.
