Broadway's Mamma Mia! Announces New Casting for Principal Roles

Tony Award nominee Alan Campbell will return to Broadway as one of the three possible dads.

The Broadway production of Mamma Mia! will welcome a new central romantic couple and a trio of male leads beginning Monday, February 3, at the Broadhurst Theatre.

Tony Award nominee Alan Campbell (Sunset Boulevard) will return to Broadway to take on the role of Sam Carmichael, with former Mamma Mia! cast member John Hemphill assuming the role of Bill Austin, and Paul DeBoy, making his Broadway debut, as Harry Bright. Elena Ricardo, a current Mamma Mia! ensemble member, will assume the role of Sophie Sheridan, with Jon Jorgenson making his Broadway debut as her fiancé, Sky.

Current leading ladies Judy McLane, Felicia Finley, and Lauren Cohn will continue in their roles of Donna Sheridan, Tanya, and Rosie, respectively. The principal company also includes Jacob Pinion as Pepper, Thomasina E. Gross as Lisa, Traci Victoria as Ali, and Albert Guerzon as Eddie.

Featuring the music of the pop band ABBA and a book by Catherine Johnson, Mamma Mia! recently celebrated its 13th anniversary on Broadway and is the 10th-longest running show in Broadway history. The production is directed by Phyllida Lloyd and produced by Judy Craymer.
