Rebecca Mozo, Nisi Sturgis, et al. Set for Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey’s I Capture the Castle

Casting has been announced for the American regional premiere of Dodie Smith’s I Capture the Castle, presented by The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey at the F.M. Kirby Shakespeare Theatre, December 1-January 2. Cameron Watson will direct.

Adapted by Smith from her 1948 popular coming-of-age novel of the same name, the play is the story of a seventeen-year-old budding writer, Cassandra, and her eccentric family who live in a crumbling 17th century English castle.

Rebecca Mozo will star as Cassandra Mortmain, with the cast also featuring Nisi as Rose Mortmain, Erika Rolfsrud as Topaz Mortmain, Matt Bradford Sullivan as James Mortmain,
Josh Carpenter as Neil Cotton, and Tony Roach as Simon Cotton.Also in the cast are Pressly Coker, John FitzGibbon, Kristen Kittel, Daniel Marconi, Eric Rolland, Maureen Silliman, Mary Stewart and Wendy Barrie-Wilson.

The creative team will include set designer Harry Feiner, lighting designer Jared Sayeg, costume designer Hugh Hanson, and sound designer Michael Eisenberg.
