Tony Award nominees Nancy Opel and Mary Testa and stage and screen star Peter Scolari will star in Ken Ludwig’s new farce, The Fox on the Fairway, to run March 22-April 17. David Saint will direct the production, which will open on March 25. Additional casting will be announced shortly.

The play opens as underdog Quail Valley Country Club prepares to take on archrival Crouching Squirrel in this year’s Annual Inter-Club Golf Tournament. With a sizable wager at stake, the contest plays out amidst three love affairs, a disappearing diamond, objectionable sweaters and an exploding vase.

Opel received a Tony nomination for her work in Urinetown. Her many stage credits include Fiddler on the Roof, Triumph of Love, Anything Goes, Sunday in the Park with George, and Evita, and The Toxic Avenger.

Scolari’s many stage credits include Sly Fox, Hairspray, Out of This World, Inspecting Carol, and White’s Lies. He received an Emmy Award for Newhart and co-starred on Bosom Buddies.

Testa has received Tony nominations for On the Town and 42nd Street. Her many stage credits include Guys and Dolls, Marie Christine, See What I Wanna See, String of Pearls, and First Lady Suite.
