Lewis Black’s One Slight Hitch Starring Mark Linn-Baker to Open George Street Playhouse Season

George Street Playhouse has announced the productions planned for its upcoming 2012-2013 season.

To kick off the season, the theater will present comedian Lewis Black‘s One Slight Hitch (October 2-28), a comedy about wedding plans gone awry starring Broadway’s Mark Linn-Baker and directed by Joe Grifasi. Next up will be Ken Ludwig’s The Game’s Afoot (November 13-December 9), a Christmas Eve murder mystery. David Saint will direct a production in association with Seattle Repertory Theatre of David Lindsay-Abaire’s Good People (January 29-February 24), an exploration of the struggles and hopes that come with having next to nothing in America.

The season will continue with a production in association with Cleveland Play House of the world premiere of Victoria Stewart’s modern day adaptation of Henry James’ Washington Square, Rich Girl (March 12-April 7), directed by Michael Bloom. George Street Playhouse will close the season with a final production which is to be announced and will run April 23-May 19.
