Daytime Emmy Winner Kim Zimmer to Return to One Life to Live; Star in New Play Lost Boy Found in Whole Foods

Four-time Daytime Emmy Award winner Kim Zimmer will return to the ABC daytime drama One Life to Live in October as Echo di Savoy, a character she played in the 1980s, according to Soap Opera Digest.


As recently reported, Zimmer will head the cast of Tammy Ryan’s Lost Boy Found in Whole Foods, to be presented by Premiere Stages in a co-production with Playwrights Theatre of New Jersey. The show will perform at in the Zella Fry Theatre on the Kean University campus in Union, New Jersey, September 2-19.

John Pietrowski will direct. the play, which focuses on the unlikely friendship between Gabriel, an optimistic former “lost boy” from Sudan, and Christine, a suburban mother in desperate need of attention and adventure. The cast will also include Warner Miller, Jamil Mangan, David Farrington, Trish McCall, and Alexandra Rivera.

Zimmer is best known for her work as Reva Shayne on CBS’ daytime drama Guiding Light. Her theater credits include Four Dogs and a Bone, The Rainmaker, Jake’s Women, Blood Brothers, Dirty Blonde, and Gypsy.
