Brandon J. Dirden, Jason Dirden to Star in Two River Theater’s Topdog/Underdog

Two River Theater has announced that real-life brothers Brandon J. Dirden and Jason Dirden will star in its upcoming production of Suzan-Lori Parks’ Pulitzer Prize-winning play Topdog/Underdog, September 8-30 at Rechnitz Theater. Playwright Suzan-Lori Parks will direct.

The play is a darkly comic tale of two brothers, Lincoln and Booth, names given to them as a joke by their father.

In related news, Amanda Dehnert will direct the world premiere of A Wind in the Willows Christmas, a musical following the adventures of Mole, the Water Rat, Dr. Badger, and Mr. Toad, running December 8-30.
