Plays by Christine Evans, Mona Mansour, Qui Nguyen Planned for Playwrights’ Center’s Free Readings
The Playwrights’ Center has announced the plans for its 2012 PlayLabs Festival and 2012-13 Ruth Easton New Play Series, to run October 15-21.
The Festival will include readings of Three Voyages of the Lobotomobile by George Brant, Nobody, No Time by Carlyle Brown, and Can’t Complain by Christine Evans.
The New Play Series, which offers one-night-only readings on the first Monday of each month between December and April, will feature Qui Nguyen’s War is F**king Awesome, Mona Mansour’s The Way West, Adam Kraar’s The Karpovsky Variations, Profiles by Joe Waechter, and Andy Bragen’s The Dowager.
