Minneapolis Musical Theatre Announces Secret Garden Cast and Creative Team

Minneapolis Musical Theatre has announced the cast and creative team for The Secret Garden, March 13-29, to be directed by Marlin Rothe with musical direction by Lori Maxell.

This Marsha Norman-Lucy Simon musical is a Tony Award winning adaptation of the classic book by Frances Hodgson, which tells the story of young Mary Lennox who moves to England to live with her uncle following the untimely death of her parents in India.

The cast will feature Emma Wernecke (Mary Lennox), Steven J. Meerdink (Archibald Craven), Thomas Karki (Dr. Neville Craven), Suzanne Reyburn (Lily), Stacey Lindell (Rose Lennox), Nora Montanez (Martha), Kurt Engh (Colin Craven), and Reid Harmsen (Dickon). Rounding out the cast are John Bruce, Lauren Drasler, Laurie Etchen, Elizabeth Ghandour, Andrew Newman, C. Ryan Shipley, Alan Wales and David B. Young.

This production will have sets by Andrea Heilman, lighting by Wu Chen Khoo, and costumes by Shannon O’Black.
