Tony nominee Marion McClinton will direct Samuel Beckett’s Endgame, to be presented by Ten Thousand Things Theater Company at the Open Book in Minneapolis, February 27-March 15.

The one-act play, originally published in 1957, features the classic match between Hamm, the blind master who cannot stand up, and his servant Clov, who cannot sit down. The cast will include Terry Bellamy and James Williams, respectively, with Steve Hendrickson as Hamm’s father Nagg. The production will also tour to audiences in prisons, housing projects, and homeless shelters, February 12-25.

McClinton received a Tony nomination for his direction of August Wilson’s King Hedley II, and additional Main Stem credits include Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom and Drowning Crow. He received a Drama Desk nomination for his production of Jitney.
