Guthrie Announces Complete Cast for Much Ado About Nothing

The Guthrie Theater has announced complete casting for its production of Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing, to run September 10 – November 5, with an opening on September 16. Joe Dowling will direct.

As previously reported, British theater, television and film actor Daniel Gerroll will star as Benedick opposite Tony Award nominee Dearbhla Molloy, with Bill McCallum as Claudio, Michelle O’Neill as Hero, and Peter Michael Goetz as Dogberry.

Newly announced cast members include Robert O. Berdahl (Balthasar), Raye Birk (Antonio), Michael Booth (Conrade), Dennis Creaghan (Leonato), Bob Davis (Borachio), Laura Esping (Ursula), Nathaniel Fuller (Verges/Friar Francis), Emily Gunyou Halaas (Margaret), H. Adam Harris (Messenger/George Seacoal), David Manis (Don Pedro), Ron Menzel (Don John/Sexton) and Max Polski (Watchman).

The creative team will include Riccardo Hernández (set designer), Fabio Toblini (costume designer), Christopher Akerlind (lighting designer), Adam Wernick (composer), and Reid Rejsa (sound designer).
