Euan Morton, Nikki Snelson, et al. Set for Maine State Music Theater’s 2010 Season

Maine State Music Theatre has announced its 2010 summer season, which will open with Always…Patsy Cline, to run June 9-26. Chan Harris will direct the production that will feature Jenny Lee Stern in the title role along with Charis Leos.

The theater’s season also includes Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe’s My Fair Lady (June 30 – July 17). Charles Abbott will direct the production, which will feature choreography by Connie Shafer. The company will feature Kate M. Fisher (Eliza), Peter Simon Hilton (Henry Higgins), along with John-Charles Kelly, Ed Romanoff, and Chuck Ragsdale.

Kander and Ebb’s Chicago will be the theater’s third production, running July 21 – August 7, directed by Donna Drake and featuring choreography by Rhonda Miller. Nikki Snelson will play Velma Kelly and Gregg Goodbrod will play Billy Flynn.

The theater’s final production for 2010 will be Monty Python’s Spamalot (August 11-28). Marc Robin will direct the production, which will feature Daniella Dalli (Lady of the Lake), Nat Chandler (King Arthur), Jeremy Webb (Sir Rob), Charles Abbott (Patsy), Chuck Ragsdale (Prince Herbert), Curt Dale Clark (Sir Galahad) and John-Charles Kelly (Dennis’ Mother/Sir Bedevere).

The theater will also present a concert version of Jonathan Larson’s Rent (June 20), an engagement by the a capella group Toxic Audio (July 26), and a concert featuring Euan Morton (August 16).
