Jeffry Denman, Charles Shaugnessy, Rachel York et al. Set for Ogunquit Playhouse’s Spamalot

Full casting has been announced for the Tony Award-winning musical, Monty Python’s Spamalot at the Ogunquit Playhouse in Ogunquit, Maine, to run August 18-September 11. Scott Taylor will direct, with musical direction by Rick Bertone.

As previously reported, the cast will be led by Charles Shaughnessy as King Arthur and Rachel York as the Lady of the Lake. In addition, the cast will feature Richard Costa (Sir Bedevere, Concorde, Dennis’ Mother), Jeffry Denman (Sir Robin, Guard, Brother Maynard), Matthew Greer (Sir Lancelot, Taunter, Tim the Enchanter), Ayal Miodovnik (Sir Galahad, Prince Herbert’s Father, Black Knight), Jeffrey Scott Stevens (Patsy, Guard 2), Chris Sutton (Prince Herbert, Historian, Not Dead Fred, French Guard, Lead Minstrel).

The ensemble will include Scott Brateng, Richard Cerato, Todd Michael Cook, Jason Grauerholz, Patrick N. Lavallee, Kent Zimmerman, Kimber Benedict, Rebecca Fale, Jenny Holahan, Erika Odegard, Tera Lee Polin, and Motique Korman.

The design team will include Richard Latta (lighting), Jeremy Oleska (sound), and Emilia Martin (hair and wigs). The production will also make use of the original Broadway designs by Tim Hatley (sets and costumes) and Elaine J. McCarthy (projections).
