Gregg Goodbrod, Denise Whelan to Star in Maine State Music Theatre’s Sunset Boulevard

Cast and creative team have been announced for Maine State Music Theatre’s production of Sunset Boulevard, running July 18-August 4 at the Pickard Theater. The production is directed and choreographed by Marc Robin.
The show, which is based on the Billy Wilder film, features music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and a book and lyrics by Don Black and Christopher Hampton.
The show stars Denise Whelan as film star Norma Desmond and Gregg
Goodbrod as Joe Gillis, the aspiring screenwriter in whom Norma takes a liking.
The cast also includes David Girolmo (Max Von Mayerling), Lauren Blackman (Betty), Bill Nabel (Cecil B. DeMille), Curt Dale Clark, Brian Michael Hoffman, Theo Lencicki, Charis Leos, Chuck Ragsdale, and Courtney Romano.
Sunset Boulevard will feature musical direction by Edward Reichert, scenic design Robert Kovach, costume design by Kurt Alger, lighting design by Colin Whitely, and sound design by Nick Cyr.
