The Geffen Playhouse’s production of Nora and Delia Ephron’s Love, Loss, and What I Wore has now been extended until August 1.

The third cast, who will appear July 7-August 1, will consist of Tony Award winner Tyne Daly and her daughter Kathryne Dora Brown, alongside Bonnie Franklin, Glenne Headly, and Amy Pietz. Daly has appeared in the show’s New York production.

Lucy DeVito, Conchata Ferrell, Justina Machado, Rhea Perlman, and Nancy Travis appear through July 3.

Based on Ilene Beckerman’s 1995 book about clothes and the memories they trigger, the production is directed by Karen Carpenter, and features a series of five-person casts that will play in four-week cycles.

A portion of the production’s proceeds will benefit Dress for Success, a charity that provides work clothing and job support for low-income women. Audience members are invited to donate their gently-used purses and other accessories in the theater’s lobby.
