Jessica Hecht to Appear on ABC’s Desperate Housewives

Jessica Hecht has been cast in a recurring role for the final season of ABC’s Desperate Housewives, according to a report on Deadline.com. She will play a love interest for Doug Savant’s character, Tom.
Hecht received a Tony Award nomination for her performance in A View From the Bridge. Among her other Broadway credits are Brighton Beach Memoirs, Julius Caesar, After the Fall, and The Last Night at Ballyhoo.
Her film and television credits include Sideways, The Forgotten, Dan in Real Life, Fair Game, Bored to Death, Nurse Jackie, and Medium.
