Marcia Milgrom Dodge to Direct Reprise Theatre’s Cabaret; The Apple Tree Added to Season

Marcia Milgrom Dodge will direct a produciton of John Kander, Fred Ebb, and Joe Masteroff’s musical Cabaret for Reprise Theatre Company which will run September 13-25 at the Freud Playhouse.

Dodge received a Tony Award nomination for her staging of Ragtime. In addition, she won a Helen Hayes Award for the production, when it premiered at the Kennedy Center. Among her other credits are How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying for Reprise and Seussical and Radio Gals off-Broadway.

Reprise has announced that it will present Jerry Bock and Sheldon Harnick’s The Apple Tree, April 17-29, 2012. The show is a triptych of short musicals, based on stories Mark Twain, Frank R. Stockton, and Jules Feiffer, and will run April 17-29.

As previously reported, the company will also produce Stephen Schwartz’s and Joseph Stein’s The Baker’s Wife, to run February 14-26.
