Woody Allen will star alongside writer/director John Turturro in the movie Fading Gigolo, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The movie will focus on two men (played by Allen and Turturro) who start an escort business together, raising eyebrows in their Hasidic community. Sharon Stone will also be featured in the film.

Allen was most recently represented on Broadway for his contribution to Relatively Speaking, which Turturro directed, earlier this season. Allen’s other plays include From A to Z, Don’t Drink the Water, Play It Again, Sam, The Floating Lightbulb, Writer’s Block, and A Second Hand Memoir. In addition, as previously reported, he is adapting his film Bullets Over Broadway as a musical. Allen has won Academy Awards for both writing and directing Annie Hall, and for writing Hannah and Her Sisters.

Tuturro’s other theater credits include The Cherry Orchard, recently at Classic Stage Company, along with Life x 3, Danny and the Deep Blue Sea, Endgame, Italian American Reconciliation, The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui, and Souls of Naples.
