Wes Bentley and Frank Langella will co-star in the film The Time Being, according to a report on Deadline.com. Nenad Cicin-Sain will direct the project, which he has co-written with Richard Gladstein.

The story will center on a struggling artist and the relationship he forms with an eccentric and dying millionaire after the old man offers the younger one a series of unusual commissions.

Bentley appeared Off-Broadway in Venus in Fur, and is perhaps best known for his role as Ricky Fitts in the film American Beauty.

Langella received Tony Awards for his work in Seascape, Fortune’s Fool, and Frost/Nixon, and received an Oscar nomination for his work in the film version of the latter play. He most recently appeared on Broadway in Man and Boy. Among his other credits are Dracula on stage and screen and A Man for All Seasons.
