Wayne Brady, Drew Carey, Darren Criss, et al. to Perform at Festival of New American Musicals Closing Party

Additional performers and guests have been announced for the closing party of the Festival of New American Musicals, which will take place at 3pm on September 10 at a private garden in Los Angeles.

Wayne Brady, Drew Carey, Jeff Davis and Chip Esten will be taking suggestions from the audience in order to create an improvised short musical.

As previously reported Glee star Darren Criss will perform at the event. Criss will play the role of J. Pierrepont Finch in the Broadway production of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying for a three-week run in January. He is best known for playing the role of Blaine on FOX’s Glee. Criss will also be the spokesperson for the 2012 Festival.


Rita Wilson, Marissa Jaret Winokur, John Stamos, Kristen Bell, Nia Vardalos, Desmond Child, Graham Phillips, David Burnham, David Zippel, James Carpinello, Sophie B. Hawkins, Amanda McBroom, and Nolan Gerard Funk, are also expect to attend and/or perform.
