Vox Humana to Present Michelle Kholos Brooks’ Love and Other Allergies

Vox Humana Theatre Ensemble will present the world premiere of Love and Other Allergies, comprised of five Short Plays by Michelle Kholos Brooks. The production will play The Lounge Theatre in Hollywood, October 8-November 21, with an opening on October 15.

In these short plays, unusual gatherings of characters reach out to each other in the hope of finding solace, love or even the most slippery common ground.

Avner Garbi and Lisa Glass will star in Cab, directed by Steve Oreste; Robert Stephen Ryan will direct Bars, featuring Kurt Boesen and Leila Arias (Friday and Saturday performances) and Steve Oreste and Leila Arias (Sunday performances); Eve Sigall, Cassandra Sanchez-Navarro and Collins Reiter will star in Allergy Shot, directed by Avner Garbi; Katharine Phillips Moser, Jeff Blumberg and Beth Nintzel will comprise the cast of Preschool, directed by D. Ewing Woodruff; and Robert Stephen Ryan and Rosemary Stevens will star in Allergic to Walnuts, directed by Steve Oreste.
