Director Thomas Kail, Tony winner for Hamilton and Emmy nominee for Fox's Grease Live, has signed a deal with 20th Century Fox TV, according to Variety. The agreement is what's known as a POD deal, which means that Kail's new production company, Old 320 Sycamore, will be developing TV projects for the Fox Broadcasting company. The focus of the deal, Variety reports, is to find promising talent and projects for Kail to supervise.

Kate Sullivan, who worked as an assistant director on Grease Live, has been named as head of development for Kail's Old 320 Sycamore.

In addition to his work on Hamilton, Kail is known to Broadway audiences for having directed the plays Lombardi and Magic/Bird. He made his Broadway debut directing Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda's In the Heights, which netted him a Tony nomination.

Kail is currently working on mounting productions of Hamilton across the U.S., including in Los Angeles and Chicago.
