Theatre Factory and Mama Quilla UK to Present Kay Adshead’s Bites
Theatre Factory in association with Mama Quilla UK are set to present Kay Adshead’s Bites, April 27-May 13 at Old Bank District Theatre. Elena Vannoni will direct.
Bites depicts the life of minorities and examines the human rights issues they raise. It takes place in a post-apocalyptic restaurant, where the actors play the roles of hostesses, chefs, and waiters.
The cast will feature Liz Davies, Elana Horowich, Carrie Lederer, Micki Morrison, Amaia Perta, Keith Trent, and Melissa Virgo.
Sound design will be by Luigi Pulcini. The production is also presented in collaboration with Italian Cultural Institute in Los Angeles, Los Angeles Arts District Space, Gilmore Associates, Downtown Art Walk, and Film Scoring Lab Los Angeles.
