Susan Egan to Celebrate New CD, The Secret of Happiness, with November 13 Concerts

Susan Egan will celebrate the release of her newest CD, The Secret of Happiness, with two performances at Show at Barre, on November 13 at 6:30pm and 8:30pm. She will be joined by Georgia Stitt, who has produced and music directed the album, which will be released on November 15.

The 12 track disc will feature songs by Stitt, as well as Jason Robert Brown, Christine Lavin, Rodgers and Hammerstein, Paul Simon, Stephen Sondheim, and Paul Gordon. Songs on the recording include ""Children Will Listen," "Cock-Eyed Optimist," "All Things in Time," and "Bridge Over Troubled Water," among others.

Egan originated the role of Belle in Broadway's Beauty and the Beast, for which she received a Tony Award nomination, and also starred in The Triumph of Love, among other shows.
