Stephen Belber to Pen Screenplay for Love and Weapons Film

Myriad Pictures has acquired Stephen Belber‘s screenplay Love and Weapons, according to a report on Deadline. Kirk D’Amico and Andrew Lazar will produce the film, which is a love story set in the world of traveling UN weapons inspectors.
Belber’s upcoming projects include an adaptation of the book Why Should White Guys Have All the Fun? as a vehicle for Jamie Foxx, Eat This Document for director Bennett Miller, a screenplay based on the 60 Minutes feature “Gospel for Teens, and MCC Theater’s production of his play Don’t Go Gentle.
His other plays include Tape, Dusk Rings a Bell, Match, and The Power of Duff, among others.
