Shoshana Bean, Fred Willard, et al. Set for A Cinderella Christmas

Casting has been announced for A Cinderella Christmas, to run December 22 – January 8 at El Portal Theatre as part of its 2011 holiday season of traditional British family Panto. Bonnie Lythgoe will direct the production, which will have choreography by Mark Ballas and musical direction by Michael Orland.

The show is an family-friendly update of the classic fairy tale and features such pop hits as Jennifer Lopez’s “Let’s Get Loud,” Lady Gaga’s “Just Dance,” Michael Buble’s “Just Haven’t Met You Yet,” and Kelly Clarkson’s “Breakaway.”

The company will feature Fred Willard as Cinderella’s father, Baron HardUp; Shoshana Bean as the fairy godmother; David Hernandez as Dandini; and Veronica Dunne in the title role, along with Todd Buonopane.
