Jack Davenport, Keith David, Rico Rodriguez, and Marina Sirtis were presenters at the Academy of Magical Arts’ Awards ceremony, held at the Avalon Hollywood Theatre on April 10. The awards are nicknamed “The Miltons” after Magic Castle co-founder Milt Larsen.
Jonathan Levit hosted the event, which featured performers Jean-Philippe Loupi, Topas, Dominic Lacasse, Jonathan Pendragon, and An-Ha-Lim, as well as an opening number from the cast of For The Record: Baz Luhrmann.
Eight-time Tony Award winner Jules Fisher received the Special Fellowship Award, while other honorees included Dana Daniels, Andrew Goldenhersh, David Regal, Suzanne,, William Scott Anderson, Bob White, Franz Harary, Stan Allen, Jeff Black, Dean Dill, Topas, John Daniel, and Lance Burton.
Audience members included Debby Ryan, Kate Linder, Tippi Hedren, Raini Rodriguez, Alison Arngrim, Romi Dames, Quentin Aaron, Josh Moore, Dawn Olivier, Richard Sherman, and Fred Willard.
