Paul Rudd to Star in The Princess Bride Reading at LACMA

Stage and screen star Paul Rudd will play Westley in Film Independent at LACMA’s reading of The Princess Bride, written by William Goldman, to be held at 7:30pm on Thursday, December 15, according to published reports. Jason Reitman will direct the reading. Additional casting will be announced shortly.


Rudd’s stage credits include The Shape of Things and Twelfth Night. His many film credits include Our Idiot Brother, Dinner for Schmucks, Role Models, and The 40-Year-Old Virgin.


The reading is sold out; however a stand-by line will form at 6 pm at the Hammer Building Ticket Office. Any cancellations or seats that become available will go to people waiting in this line.
