Patrick J. Adams to Star in Bootleg Theater’s 9 Circles

Patrick J. Adams will star in the Los Angeles premiere of Bill Cain’s 9 Circles, to be presented by Bootleg Theater, October 21-November 12. Justin Zsebe will direct.

Adams will play Army Private Daniel Reeves, a 19-year old soldier who returns home only to be arrested and prosecuted for alleged crimes committed during his active duty in Iraq. Based on actual events and inspired by The Divine Comedy, the story follows the confused and troubled teenager as he is thrown into a labyrinth of military bureaucracy and forced to navigate through layers of commanding officers, public defenders, lawyers, preachers, and army psychiatrists.

Adams received an Ovation nomination for his performance in Cain’s Equivocation at the Geffen Playhouse. He stars as Mike Ross in the USA Network series Suits.
