Parker Posey to Host Sundance Film Festival Awards Ceremony
Parker Posey will host Sundance Film Festival’s awards ceremony to be held on January 28, according to a report in Variety. The Festival will run January 19-29.
Posey’s stage credits include Hurlyburly, Fifth of July, Four Dogs and a Bone, and Taller Than a Dwarf. Among her many film credits are Party Girl, House of Yes, Broken English, and Price Check, which is being shown in the out-of-competition premieres section at this year’s Sundance festival.
Among the members of U.S. dramatic jury are Anthony Mackie and Lynn Shelton, while the world dramatic jury includes Julia Ormond and Richard Pena.
As previously announced, films – both in and out of competition – at this year’s festival will feature stage veterans Ty Burrell, David Duchovny, Jesse Eisenberg, Ari Graynor, Frank Langella, Allison Janney, Melissa Leo, Frances McDormand, Chris Messina, Sean Penn, Josh Radnor, and Susan Sarandon, among others.
