Michael Feinstein, Neil Sedaka, Bryn Terfel, et al. Set for L.A. Philharmonic Season

The Los Angeles Philharmonic has announced the line-up for its 2010-2011 season.

Artists who will participate in the season include Juan Diego Florez (October 7), Emanuel Ax (October 8-10), Andras Schiff (October 13), Jean-Yves Thibaduet (October 14-17), Ravi Shankar (October 20), Neil Sedaka (October 27), Anne Soffie van Otter and Willard White (November 19-21) ,Midori (November 21), Bryn Terfel (November 22, 26-28), Natalie Cole (December 8), Natalie MacMaster (December 22), Brad Melhdau (January 21), Itzhak Perlman (January 25), Michael Feinstein (February 5), Wynton Marsalis and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra (February 15), Herbie Hancock (March 5), Sir James Galway (March 14), and Yo-Yo Ma (April 4).

In addition, the Philharmonic will present the premiere of Gerald Barry’s The Importance of Being Earnest, to be conducted by Thomas Ades and featuring singers Hila Plitman, Katalin Karolyi, and Stephen Richardson on April 7 and 8.
