Michael Bernardi, Eduardo Enrikez, Kalinda Gray Head Cast of Cabaret at Met Theatre

Full casting has been announced for the musical Cabaret, to be presented by Musical Theatre of Los Angeles in association with Canary Productions at the Met Theatre, June 18-August 9, with an opening on June 19. Judy Norton will direct.

Adapted from stories by Christopher Isherwood, the musical features a book by Joe Masteroff, lyrics by Fred Ebb, and music by John Kander. Set in 1931 Berlin, on the eve of the Nazis’ rise to power, it focuses on nightlife at the seedy Kit Kat Klub and the events revolving around the 19-year-old English cabaret performer Sally Bowles and her relationship with young American writer Cliff Bradshaw.

The principal cast will include Eduardo Enrikez (Emcee), Kalinda Gray (Sally Bowles), Michael Bernardi (Clifford Bradshaw), Annalisa Erickson (Fraulein Schneider), Jayson Kraid (Herr Shultz), Craig Bachmann (Ernst Ludwig), and Josie Yount (Fraulein Kost).

The Kit Kat girls and boys will include Korken Alexander, Annette Duran, Aaron Jacobs, Stephanie Lopez, Leah McKendrick, Bonnie McMahan, Tania Possick, Jesse James Rice, Brooke Seguin, and Danny Zaccagnino.

The creative team will include Tania Possick (choreographer), Greg Haake (musical director), John Wright (set design), Derrick Mcdaniel (lighting design), Victoria Bellocq (scenic design), and Ann Mcmahan (costume design).
