Matthew Morrison to Perform Single from His New CD on Glee Season Finale

Matthew Morrison will sing “Still Got Tonight,” the single from his self-titled album, on the season finale of FOX’s hit series Glee airing on May 24, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Morrison’s album will be released by Mercury Records on May 10.

In addition to “Still Got Tonight,” written by American Idol winner Kris Allen, along with Andrew Frampton and Steve Kipner, Morrison’s CD includes such tracks as a duet with Elton John that’s a “mash-up” of John’s “Rocket Man” and “Mona Lisa and Mad Hatters,” as well as a duet of “Somewhere Over the Rainbow,” sung with Gwyneth Paltrow. Both have already been released digitally.

Morrison, who plays Will Schuester on Glee, received a Tony nomination for his performance in The Light in the Piazza. His other Broadway credits include Hairspray, South Pacific, and A Naked Girl on the Appian Way.
