Mamma Mia!: Here We Go Again Drops New Trailer During the Grammys

Get ready to hear Cher sing some of your favorite ABBA tunes.

Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, the sequel to the 2008 film — itself an adaptation of the popular ABBA Broadway musical — dropped a new trailer during last night's Grammys telecast. Contained in the one-minute spot is a tantalizing glimpse of Cher singing "Fernando," which was not featured in the previously released first official teaser trailer. Check out the TV spot below.

With a soundtrack full of ABBA songs not featured in the first film as well as some reprised favorites, Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again comes from the producers of the original Mamma Mia! film: Littlestar's Judy Craymer and Playtone's Gary Goetzman. Craymer is also the creator and producer of the hit stage musical. Ol Parker, writer of The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, writes and directs. Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus are aboard again to provide music and lyrics and serve as executive producers.

The musical film will be released by Universal Pictures on July 20, 2018.
