Live Video Recording of John Adams’ City Noir to Be Available on iTunes September 14

A live video recording of in John Adams’ City Noir and Mahler’s Symphony No. 1, performed by the Los Angeles Philharmonic under the leadership of music director Gustavo Dudamel, will be released on iTunes on September 14.

This performance, available for download in its entirety, marks the first ever classical concert video to be released on iTunes. The concert was recorded live in Walt Disney Concert Hall at Dudamel’s Inaugural Gala on October 8, 2009. City Noir was commissioned specifically for the event and received its world premiere that evening.
