Full casting has been announced for the L.A. Theatre Works’ live production of War of the Worlds by H.G. Wells, adapted by Howard Koch, and The Lost World by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, adapted by John de Lancie and Nat Segaloff, to run May 13-17 at the Skirball Cultural Center. The production will be directed by Brendon Fox, based on original direction by de Lancie.

War of the Worlds terrified the world with its harrowing account of a Martian invasion, while Conan Doyle’s The Lost World focused on a prehistoric adventure.

The cast will feature Josh Clark, Kyle Colerider-Krugh, Peter Paige, Kirsten Potter, Kate Steele, Tom Virtue, and Kenneth Alan Williams.

In addition, actor Leonard Nimoy — best known for his role as Dr. Spock in Star Trek — will participate in an interview and Q&A session after the Wednesday evening performance.
