John Stamos to Co-Produce Beach Boys Movie Musical

Broadway veteran John Stamos will co-produce, along with Craig Zadan and Neil Meron, a movie musical set to the music of the Beach Boys, according to Variety.

No details are currently available on the plot for this Twentieth Century Fox film, other than that it is fictional. Susannah Grant will pen the screenplay.

Stamos has starred on Broadway in Bye Bye Birdie, Nine, and Cabaret. He is perhaps best known for his portrayal of Jesse Katsopolis on the hit sitcom Full House, and recently began appearing in a recurring role in the television show, Glee.
