John Cragen, Keelia Flinn, and More Set for The Road Theatre Company’s That Good Night

The Road Theatre Company has announced casting for the world premiere of That Good Night, written by Andrew Dolan and directed by Scott Alan Smith. The play will perform at the Lankershim Arts Center, May 26-July 21, with an opening on June 1.

With their father in a coma, the O’Dwyer family of middle-aged children return home to say their goodbyes. Among them is a their 37 year old brother who still lives at home and works as a part time clown dabbling in children’s birthday parties, magic, film criticism and heroin. Their shattered mother who is clinging to her Irish Catholic faith struggles to keep them all together while the older brothers struggle with their own identities, marriages and fatherhood.

The cast of That Good Night will feature John Cragen, Keelia Flinn, Chet Grissom, Melissa Kite, Leon Russom, Elizabeth Sampson, Judith Scarpone and Bernie Zilinskas.

The production will feature scenic design by Stephen Gifford, costume design by Mary Jane Miller, lighting design by Jeremy Pivnick, sound Design by David B. Marling, and prop design by Linda DeMetrick. The original music is composed by Drew Price. The producers are Hilary Six and Theo Stevens.
