Casting has been announced for the Los Angeles premiere of No Way to Treat a Lady, featuring book, music, and lyrics by Douglas J. Cohen. West Hyler and Shelley Butler co-direct the production, which will play the Colony Theatre, April 15-May 17, with an opening set for April 18.

Based on the novel by William Goldman, the musical thriller centers around Detective Morris Brummell, who is tracking a serial killer. But can he find the killer, get the girl, and appease his disappointed mother — all before the next chorus?

The cast will include Heather Lee (Flora, Alexandra, Carmella, Mrs. Sullivan, Sadie), Jack Noseworthy (Christopher “Kit” Gill), Erica Piccininni (Sarah Stone), and Kevin Symons (Morris Brummell).

The creative team will include Dean Mora (musical director), Sibyl Wickersheimer (set), Paloma Young (costumes), Jeremy Pivnick (lighting), and Drew Dalzell (sound).
