Haley Joel Osment Set for Wake the Dead Movie

Haley Joel Osment will star in Wake the Dead, according to a report in Variety. Jay Russell is directing the movie.
The project, based on the graphic novels by Steven Niles, is a modern-day retelling of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, centering on college student Victor Franklin (Osment) who attempts to reverse death.
Osment co-starred in the 2008 Broadway revival of American Buffalo. His film credits include The Sixth Sense, A.I. Artificial Intelligence, Secondhand Lions, and Pay It Forward.
