French Stewart to Host 2011 Ovation Awards Ceremony

French Stewart will host the Ovation Awards ceremony to be held at the Orpheum Theatre on Monday, November 14, at 7:30pm.

Stewart has received multiple Ovation Award nominations for his performances in Voice Lessons and Watson – The Last Great Tale of the Legendary Sherlock Holmes. Among his other stage credits are Zombie Attack, Pot Mom, and Matthew Modine Saves The Alpacas.

His television credits include Third Rock From the Sun, Seinfeld, Just Shoot Me, Bones, Pushing Daisies< and Criminal Minds, among others. In addition, he has been seen on screen in films suc as Stargate, Leaving Las Vegas, and Surveillance.

As previously announced, other performers nominated for 2011 Ovation Award include Obba Babatunde, Stephanie Block, Anne Gee Byrd, Susan Claassen, Willem de Vries, Raul Esparza, Edi Gathegi, Meg Gillentine, Deidrie Henry, Tom Hewitt, Sean Hingston, Lesli Margherita, Millicent Martin, Sandy Martin, Laurie Metcalf, Greg Watanabe, and Constance Zimmer.
