The FX limited series Fosse/Verdon has set a premiere date. The eight-part show will debut on Tuesday, April 9, at 10pm.

The series follows the relationship between performer Gwen Verdon (played by Michelle Williams) and choreographer Bob Fosse (Sam Rockwell), who were onetime spouses and collaborators on iconic musicals such as Damn Yankees, Sweet Charity, Chicago, and more. Norbert Leo Butz and Margaret Qualley also star, along with a recurring cast that includes Aya Cash, Nate Corddry, Susan Misner, Bianca Marroquín, Kelli Barrett, Evan Handler, Rick Holmes, Paul Reiser, Ethan Slater, and Byron Jennings.

Lin-Manuel Miranda, Thomas Kail, Steven Levenson, Joel Fields, George Stelzner, Rockwell, and Williams will be the executive producers, with Levenson serving as showrunner. Based on the book Fosse by Sam Wasson, Fosse/Verdon will feature choreography by Miranda and Kail's Hamilton collaborator Andy Blankenbuehler. Nicole Fosse, daughter of Fosse and Verdon, serves as co-executive producer.
