Elton John Biopic Rocketman Releases Teaser Trailer

Taron Egerton will play the legendary rock star and ”Lion King” composer in the film, written by ”Network”’s Lee Hall.

The upcoming Elton John biopic Rocketman has released a teaser trailer, which you can see below.

Set to be released by Paramount Pictures in the US on May 17, 2019, and in the UK on May 31, 2019, the film will star Taron Egerton (Kingsman: The Secret Service) as the legendary rock star and composer of The Lion King and Billy Elliot: The Musical. Dexter Fletcher (Eddie the Eagle) will direct a screenplay by Lee Hall (Network).

John is currently at work on a Broadway-bound musical adaptation of The Devil Wears Prada with Shaina Taub and Paul Rudnick.
