Company members from seven Cirque du Soleil productions playing in Las Vegas will appear at The Grove in Los Angeles on Sunday, August 22, beginning at 11am. Each company will offer a special three minute segment from their show at the event, which will be free and open to the public.

The companies participating in the event will be Mystère, “O”, CRISS ANGEL Believe, Viva ELVIS, and Zumanity.

In addition to the performances from each show, a circus play area for children will be on site, along with face painting and other activities with cast members from The Beatles LOVE. There will also be the opportunity to meet Cirque du Soleil cast members during the afternoon.

This Grove event kicks off a year’s worth of activity for Cirque du Soleil in the Los Angeles area. In the fall, Cirque du Soleil founder Guy Laliberté will receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Next summer, a yet-to-be-titled permanent Cirque du Soleil show inspired by cinema and the history of Hollywood will start performances at Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center. The production will take spectators on a voyage through the history of cinema and its genres.
